The cast-iron plate of the electric griddle PSF 400 E accumulates heat by its strong thermal inertia. With enough power under the gas griddle, the cast-iron restores energy during contact cooking. After disconnecting the griddle plate, residual heat can still be used to keep foods warm. This cast-iron plate, the real origin of contact cooking, is still used a lot among fans of traditional contact cooking in common restaurants.
After 15-20 minutes of preheating, the cast-iron plate reaches an even temperature over the entire cooking surface thanks to the Incoloy heating element. Both oil-shaped heating elements cover the entire surface of the cast-iron plate. Thanks to the power of the heating element (3 kW), the electric plancha grill PSF 400 E ensures homogeneous cooking without heat loss on the edges.
This professional griddle plate can grill a wide variety of meats, fish, burgers, sausages, vegetables, onions but also fried eggs, omelettes.
The juices and grease are drained into the fully removable drawer. The stainless steel collecting tray can be cleaned in a dishwasher. After intensive use and after disconnecting the professional griddle plate, it is possible to deglaze the still hot cooking plate with cold water or some ice cubes.
